The 2026 USSF National Championships is the premier amateur sumo tournament in the United States and the official qualifying event for the 2026 Sumo World Championships. Athletes from across the country will compete for national titles and the opportunity to represent the USA on the international stage.
Featuring youth, and adult divisions, Nationals brings together the highest level of domestic competition while celebrating the strength, discipline, and community that define American sumo. This cornerstone event of the USSF calendar is a must-attend for competitors, coaches, and fans alike.
Open to U.S. citizens and must have an active USSF membership.
